Trilateral Weimar Spring Conference

The conference website is also available in German, French and Polish.

For over 30 years, the Weimar Triangle has stood for cross-border cooperation between France, Poland and Germany; for open discourse, mutual inspiration and bridge-building. In view of the political challenges of recent years, it is all the more important to bring together students from all three countries to openly discuss the challenges of this time that can only be overcome together, to learn from each other and to explore new visions for the future.

With this in mind, the Trilateral Weimar Conference will take place in Frankfurt am Main from 12 to 14 April 2024. At the conference, members of the three partner organisations (Conférence Olivaint France, Young Polish International Network (YPIN) and Studierendenforum im Tönissteiner Kreis e.V.) will come together to revive the spirit of the Weimar Triangle. In terms of content, the conference will focus on the topic of (trilateral) security policy, which will be presented from multiple perspectives through panels, workshops and keynotes by specialists in the field and explored interactively by the group of participants.

Interaktive Workshops im internationalen Kontext sind Grundbestandteil von Konferenzen des Studierendenforums
Interactive workshops in an international context are core elements of conferences organised by the Student Forum.

As members of the Politeia network, all trilateral projects and events will also be embedded in an international community.
